MCS has joined forces with oilfield services provider, Saipem, to digitalize asset integrity management and increase efficiency for energy operators.
MCS and Saipem have combined expertise across asset integrity, subsea robotics and data science and software to launch the PALM Suite or Platform for Asset Lean Management.
The system includes advanced features and utilizes Digital Twin technology to create 3D reconstructions for subsea dimensional control data gathering to optimize asset performance, streamline maintenance and contribute to a more efficient and sustainable industry.
Chief Executive of MCS Group, Wael Bakr, said: “We are committed to tackling global energy challenges with our own designed and patented technology and this partnership sees us working together to enhance projects with a smart and proven system.
“Data-driven industry solutions are critical as we prepare the sector for the future. We develop new technologies in-line with the fourth industrial revolution, or industry 4.0, movement and look forward to continuing to deliver impactful projects which will contribute to both energy security and more sustainable industry practices.”
